Mini is to sip the first two pitches of the model to its line of small cars to be added to gas - 2012 Mini Coupe maximizes fun.
The new model could be a direct competitor to the tiny Smart ForTwo, but for the fact that the Cup Mini is a better future and a choice of three four-cylinder engines, including one that will produce over 200 hp. (The ForTwo is just a three-cylinder engine.)
Mini, now part of the British car maker BMW in Germany, says the new coupe was designed to "maximize the joy of driving" and give "an unparalleled level of agility in the segment of small cars."

Standard in top-of-the-line Mini John Cooper Works model, 1.6-liter four-cylinder with twin-scroll turbocharger and direct injection cranks 208 horses and 192 pound-feet of torque. It allows the car from zero to 60 mph in just 6.1 seconds, push, and produce a top speed of 149 mph.
The base engine is a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 121 horsepower and 118 pound-feet of torque. This engine moves the car from zero to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds, and give it a top speed of 127 mph.
As with other Mini models, will be an S version, and is the engine of the middle level: a further variant of the 1.6-liter four twin-scroll turbocharger and direct ignition.
It produces 181 hp and 177 pound-feet of torque, and leave the car goes from zero to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds. The top speed is 142 mph.
A six-speed transmission is standard, but a six-speed automatic is based on models and S.
EPA estimates fuel economy are not yet available, but the basic engine of the standard Mini Cooper is 29 mpg city/37 highway estimated with manual transmission and 28/36 with the automatic transmission.
The coupe is 146.8 cm long basic form, and 147 cm in length and John Cooper S version, which compares with 146.6 inches for the hatchback Mini Cooper.
The width is 66.3 cm and 54.6 cm in height, the base model, and 54.5 cm in the other two versions - shorter than the standard Mini Cooper hatchback an inch. The wheelbase is 97.1 inches for the three models, the same as the Cooper hatchback.

There are several seats and upholstery, including black leather sport seats and a color called Toffy pad, which comes only on the coupe.
