Suksesnya acara kontes modifikasi bergengsi ini juga turut menghadirkan para jawara baru di tiap-tiap kelasnya. Ragamnya modifikasi cukup terlihat dari banyaknya jajaran kontestan yang datang untuk memperlombakan kendaraanya. Kepadatan acara kian terasa di malam hari tepat diumumkanya para pemenang kategori.
Ford Ranger milik Agung Purwanto yang telah dirombak total sehingga memiliki roda sebanyak 6 buah dengan bak belakang yang penuh dijejali perangkat audio keluaran Cello resmi terpilih menjadi The king Extreme Surabaya. Melihat dari tampilanya dan ubahan yang telah dilakukan terhadap Ford Ranger ini memang patut diajungi jempol, oleh karena itu tak heran bila mobil ini banyak menjadi pusat perhatian ketika berlangsungnya kontes tersebut.
Tak hanya Agung saja yang mendapat kebahagiaan sebagai The King, di kategori lainya seperti kelas Elegan, Taneka Danubrata dari klub Option yang turun dengan Honda Jazznya juga sukses dinobatkan sebagai King Elegan. Sementara itu di kategori King Street Racing berhasil direbut oleh Steve Hermawan dari Euro Forty Six dengan mobil BMW E46 yang kemudian disusul lagi oleh pesrta dari klub Option, Widodo dengan karya mobil handmade-nya yang berhasil merebut gelar sebagai King Racing.
“Terbukti bahwa dunia modifikasi di tanah air makin berkembang dengan hadirnya para jawara baru di 2011 ini. Honda CR-Z Mugen tetap mengandalkan mesin bawaan yaitu 1.5L i-VTEC petrol dan Honda IMA electric motor, dimana mesin tersebut didesain ulang dengan spesifikasi Mugen yang telah diperkuat bagian internal mesinnya.

Scion FR-S is a front-engine, rear-wheel drive, sports. That's right, rear wheel drive. FR-S is an authentic sports interpratation Scion Rear-wheel drive car with a "very important style of running smoothly, handling and surprisingly flexible tool for MPG.
"Scion is always experimenting with new things," said Jack Hollis, Scion vice president. "Mark is the xB, TC Adrenalized famous and groundbreaking of the iQ. FR-S is to expand the brand to a new level that I know it's really going on."
FR-S is designed to "clean balance" under the hood, combined with a flat cylinder 2.0-liter boxer from the rear-wheel drive are. Auto News : Clas Mild Accelera Auto Contest 2011 – Hebohkan Surabaya (Day 1)
0 comments Posted by crue at 11:39 PMBosMobil.com - Gelaran perdana kontes modifikasi Clas Mild Accelera Auto Contest 2011 (CMAAC), resmi dibuka di Surabaya yang berlangsung di SSCC Supermall pada 23-24 April ini.
Tercatat sekitar 220 mobil turut meramikan ajang ini yang rata-rata berasal dari berbagai klub dan komunitas mobil di Surabaya. Sebut saja seperti, Option, Custom, Rebellion, Freedom, Auto Concept, Zoom, Prototype, Porskit, Line’s, Capunk, Jason, Revenge, Innocent, Platypus, Facelift, Promobile dan juga lainya.
Hiruk pikuk keramaian mulai terasa sejak jam 14:00 dan terus hingga saat sore hari, mulai dari pengunjung sampai dengan rekanan klub/komunitas turut serta meramaikan ajang kontes bergengsi ini. Nampaknya kontes tahun ini mendapatkan animo yang cukup besar, hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah pengunjung yang terus memadati arena pada hari pertama juga dari jumlah peserta dan kreasi-kreasi modifikasinya yang dikonteskan makin beragam dan bervariasi.
Mulai dari kelas elegan, street racing hingga kelas racing yang makin “gahar” pun ada. Tak heran bila banyak tanggapan bahwa di kota Surabaya ini dunia modifikasi roda empat makin berkembang pesat. Eiitt, tak hanya itu saja …. Masih ada kontes khusus penggila audio seperti, SQ, SPL dan juga SQL yang cukup mendapatkan perhatian banyak kontestan. Di kelas SQ, pada hari pertama di perlombakan kelas 15 juta open dan 15 juta two way, sedangkan esoknya (24) naik menjadi kelas 30 juta dan juga FFA.
Beragam acara hiburan juga turut diadakan pihak panitia dan sponsor, mulai dari kontes poto sampai dengan acara yang paling di tunggu-tunggu, apa lagi kalau bukan kontes HotBabes … kebayangkan bagaimana dara-dara cantik dari kota “arek-arek” ini berlaga diatas panggung mempertunjukan kebolehannya, terlebih SPG yang ada di sana memang terbilang “nonjok”, nga kalah dengan mobil-mobil modifikasi yang bertarung di kontes ini.
Terlihat sedikit perbedaan pada kontes CMAAC yang digelar pada tahun ini, yaitu dengan dibukanya kelas baru bertajuk “Colors of Indonesia” yaitu kelas modifikasi khusus bertemakan budaya asli Indonesia. Mulai dari penggunaan bahan-bahan atau desain yang harus menonjolkan budaya tradisional Indonesia.
Animo besar dari para peserta juga disebabkan total hadiah yang makin bertambah, misalnya untuk kelas King Elegan yang semula senilai Rp. 4 juta menjadi Rp. 5 juta, dan King Street Racing yang menjadi 3,5 juta dari sebelumnya yang hanya 2,5 juta. Tak hanya itu, hadiah final battle untuk kategori Champion of Elegant, yang biasanya cash money menjadi sebuah unit motor sport 250 cc, sedangkan Champion of Street Racing memperolehkan hadiah tunai atau motor 110 cc.

BosMobil.com (21/04) - Toyota Yaris Berhasil mendapat gelar penghargaan Kartini Choice Brand Awards 2011 dari majalah Kartini dalam acara yang di gelar di The Hall lt.8 Gedung Senayan City. Women Insight Center (WIC) – Marketing Research Consultan, menyelenggarakan Women Survey, yang pertama di Indonesia dan akan menjadi aktivitas rutin tahunan. Penelitian ini untuk mengukur nilai suatu merek dengan memaparkan elemen-elemen yang menentukannya di persepsi perempuan Indonesia.
Dasar dari penyelenggaraan survey ini adalah, karena menurut beberapa riset, perempuan merupakan ceruk pasar sempit adalah mitos. Yang benar, lebih dari 80% semua pembelian merek dibuat oleh perempuan. Bahkan 50% mobil yang dikendarai lelaki, computer dan sebagainya, keputusan pembelinya ditentukan oleh perempuan (Business Week, 2004)
Untuk tahun 2011, WOMEN SURVEY telah dilaksanakan di 7 kota besar di Tanah air pada Februari lalu. Survey dilakukan dengan metode multistage random sampling, house to house, face to face dengan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur terhadap 1600 responden wanita dengan status ekonomi social A,B,C. Tujuan survey untuk mengetahui merek paling di pilih konsumen wanita usia 17 – 55 tahun dari berbagai kategori produk.

Setelah di hadang oleh berbagai godaan dan kritikan dari publik, akhirnya Volkswagen resmi meluncurkan salah satu produk legendarisnya, all new Beetle 2012 yang didatangkan dalam gelaran acara Auto Shanghai 2011.
Generasi terbaru ini merupakan versi generasi ke-3 atau dapat juga dikatakan sebagai generasi kedua dari New Beetle. Varian awalnya lahir pada 1938 sedangkan yang kedua menetas pada 1998.
Tampilan varian terbaru keluarga Beetle ini tak membuang ciri khasnya dan tetap mempertahan jati diri asli dari Beetle yang memiliki bentuk membulat tepatnya setengah bulatan pada bagian roda depan dan belakang juga bagian kabinnya, begitu juga dengan ciri headlampnya yang bulat namun telah menggunakan teknologi lampu LED.
Khusus di generasi ke-3 ini, Beetle tampil sedikit lebih ceper dengan rootline yang merebah layaknya mobil-mobil balap retro. Selain itu kap mesin juga sedikit lebih panjang yang dibarengi dengan kaca depan jauh lebih landai ke belakang. Dengan dimensi Beetle Baru yang memiliki panjang 4.278 mm (lebih panjang 152 mm), lebar 1.808 mm (lebih lebar 84 mm), tinggi 1.486 mm (lebih ceper 12 mm), membuatnya kian menarik dan atraktif.
Di sektor mesin, New Beetle datang dengan beberapa optional pilihan mesin, mesin 2.0L turbocharged 155TSI dan juga mesin 4 silinder 2.0 turbodiesel TDI yang memiliki power sebesar 103 Kw dan torsi hingga 320 Nm. Untuk pasar lokal, Beetle ditawarkan dengan mesin bensin saja yang dimulai dari, 1.2 liter 77TSI dengan 77KW dan 175Nm, hingga 1.4 liter 118TSI dengan 118KW dan 240Nm. Kesemua mesin tersebut juga telah didukung dengan pilihan transmisi otomatik juga manual.
Rencananya generasi terbaru yang menjadi penerus dari keluarga Beetle ini akan mulai di pasarkan di Amerika dan Eropa menjelang 2012 nanti.
