This year's "Gotta Get that concept in production 'prize at NY Auto Show goes to the Volkswagen Van. When first introduced last month to potential Geneva Auto Show Bulli, both for the family, it is convenient for travel and adventure with many devices or road travel enthusiasts.

Inside the retro VW concept car in the first row of seats three passengers, the glass roof, rear folding seats at all, can in bed, and IPAD integration. Although it is difficult to tell from the photo, Camper Van is quite compact. At only 157 cm in length, is less than the Honda Odyssey (202.9 cm), Toyota RAV4 (181 cm), Mini Countryman (161 cm) and the Scion xB (167.3 cm).

The concept of an electric motor provides a range of 186 miles - impressive, considering most of electric vehicles on the market or in the near future to have limits of 100 km. But when the electric motor to drive the mass production of the VW Bus, VW should consider a 1.4-liter version of its new clean diesel engines.

In 2001, the German automaker Mircobus teased enthusiasts of the concept, which never came to fruition. We hope that VW has wised up-up.
