If you think luxury SUV, the Land Rover brand is expected to come to mind. The popular series of luxury SUV was the British car manufacturer Land Rover, which is known for their high quality 4x4. Land Rover, now a part of the Jaguar Land Rover to Tata Motors in India. The fifth series of models from Land Rover, Range Rover Sport is a new direction for the brand's models.
A mix of functionality and luxury
Maurice Wilks was responsible for building and launching the first SUV from the British company in 1948. Wilks was designed by a U. S. Jeep Willys MB mounted, he called the U.S. Army Jeep inspired. Wilks was at his farm in Newborough, Anglesey when he discovered the need for a utility vehicle for farmers and decided to invest in making off-road SUV.
Maurice and Spencer Wilks (the CEO of Rover at the time) made the first prototype using a Land Rover chassis with a Jeep Rover engine and gearbox, which again makes use of a Jeep transfer. Land Rover is specialized not only a series of pioneering civilian all-terrain vehicles, all-terrain, but also a brand that can be found in places the highest quality and luxury.
The Range Rover Sport is the fifth in the luxury sport utility vehicle all terrain models of the Land Rover. He comes from a completely different design direction of the Freelander in 1996 as opposed to the concept introduced for the Range Stormer in 2005. Sport is a variant of the concept and is marketed as a dedicated sports touring SUV. He earned a remarkable upgrade in 2010 to compete with its speed-hungry madman and new competitors like the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X6 M.
Sport has an impressive range of skills off-road in his heart that certainly lives the high standards set by his compatriot rover predecessors. It is visible only with an automatic transmission that the Range Rover and a driver of SUV tailor the design of its LED headlights and taillights.
