Of all the cars on the road, the TL has been one of the most controversial, at least in terms of style. It all comes down to what is called the beak. Polished chrome of the car trunk used to polarize the audience to the point where it became a love or hate-it-it proposal. I happened to fall into the latter group. The new front style worn by the 2012 model reduces the appearance without deserting the identity of the company. In this regard, the 2012 TL is a much stronger-looking car. Better news is that the TL does not lose anything in terms of ability to impress the driver.
As before, there are two distinct types of TL. The basic car driving the front wheels, the powers of all four cars to the next level. This model is an important step in terms of drivers. Acura Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive (SH-AWD) system not only for power divv front to back and the distribution of power leftto-right of the rear axle. Entering a curve to see power system speeds up to 70% of the power back. Then sends more torque to the rear wheel off (up to 100%), which becomes physically TL into a corner. This offers two main advantages: first, there is less pilot-tion of inputs required, and second, the tendency to rush headlong into understeer is moved to the point where it is basically a non-issue. The second advantage is particularly important given the 59/41 weight bias sedan front to back.
Perhaps the biggest improvement of the powertrain is the addition of a six-speed manumat-ic, with improvements at both ends of the range of report.
The first is lower than before, underlining once a line TL. From second to fourth are then spaced to keep the engine roaring to a boil during hard acceleration is required. Fifth and sixth gears are both overdrive.
Inside, the TL is instantly recognizable - if you have a button fetish, this car is nirvana. The table looks confusing at first (there are some functions on the steering wheel only 18), but, over time, the layout is intuitive. Much of the ease of use comes down to the side entry.
There are a lot of equipment for the race, especially if the package is the elite place.
It wraps the leather seats Milan butter and provides superb sound system is integrated into the navigation system - 440-watt 10-speaker sound skipping positioned. The front seats are shaped without feeling cramped and the driving position is higher. The combination eliminates blind spots, while the rear camera makes the task of parking.
The rear seat can accommodate two adults in comfort - there are a lot of headroom and legroom, more space under the front seats for the feet of anyone. Just do not draw the rounded central location is the pillow and the case has a convex shape to it.
I liked the original TL. The second generation has lost much of its charm because of its beak. I can live with this model - which combines the advantages of a luxury car right on the rind of a sports sedan, especially the elite that is fully loaded SH-AWD system to the proper use of this type. As a package, the TL SH-AWD should not overshadow any of its German competitors.
